Old Friends of St. Andrews University

Excellent holiday home for large group. Had a beautiful meal at the Punch Bowl Inn at Crosthwaite & lovely breakfast/lunches available at Graze in Bowness-on-Windermere (tiny cafe just opposite Peter Rabbit exhibition). Good walking on all the hills around Hagg End – surprisingly spectacular views from the craggy hill next to Borwick Fold. Many thanks to Helen & Petros for their welcome. (September 2015)

Bennetts from Oxfordshire and Whites from London

Plenty of room for 10 of us plus baby. Brilliant to have dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier and such a big fridge. We never ran out of mugs and teaspoons, unlike at home. The trampoline was a great hit with all ages. Weather was perfect -warm, calm, dry and often sunny. The peace and quite was just what we needed even if we were rowdy! (12/09/2014)
